On this week’s US Dancing With The Stars, Bindi Irwin shared a sweet memory about her late father, Steve.
The 17-year-old spoke about her hometown – Australia Zoo – and one of her favourite times spent with her dad.
“My hometown will always remind me of dad,” she said.
“When you go to Australia Zoo, I think that’s where you can feel dad the most because that is the one place on earth that he loved the most.”
She talks about a time where she felt “genuinely so, so happy” just having a dance with her dad.
We’re definitely Team Bindi!!
Here’s a #flashback to a 6 year old Bindi helping Dad and the croc boys secure a beautiful and giant salt water crocodile. In Far North Queensland, carrying my Dad’s knife belt, these were the best days. Please note two things about me – I was so little, the belt had no hope of fitting..so I had to carry it on my shoulder! Also, my epic star hat, because you have to have style when you’re catching crocs!
