It’s been revealed what Michael Turnbull charges to promote a brand or business on his Instagram account.

Michael, who was the runner-up on the first Australian season of the The Bachelorette, failed to win a place in Sam Frost’s heart but he’s not sitting at home, crying into his cornflakes.

Michael is keeping busy by racking up thousands of followers on his social media accounts. 

The reality TV star currently has 112,000 Instagram followers, a figure he’s using to justify charging brands and venues $550 per Instagram post to promote them!

An email seen by shows that Michael isn’t shy about asking for the cash either, as he is the one that approached Brisbane based restaurant Stokehouse to see if they were interested in paying for a post.

In the email Michael says, “The reason for me reaching out to you is to see if you would be interested in collaborating together with an arrangement so I could share my dining experiences at your restaurant with my 140,000 fans on social media and on my blog —

“I normally charge over $550 per social media post however I’m happy to come to another non-monetary arrangement if you think it’s something you are interested in.”

When contacted Michael he responded by saying that he often contacts restaurants that he loves but he would never charge for posting a charity related pic and that only promotes a product that he truly believes in.
