It’s not often you see quintuplets enter the world, but when you do, it’s amazing!
That’s exactly what we found when proud Perth parents shared the first photoshoot of the newborns with their mother.
Kim and Vaughn Tucci from Perth became parents to five children in January; Keith, Ali, Penelope, Tiffany and Beatrix.
The gorgeous shots were taken by Erin Elizabeth Photography and show a beautiful family snapshot. Kim looks luminous as she cradles her give babies.
The couple are already parents to a nine-year-old son and two daughters; four-year-old Aiva and two-year-old Indiana – and now they have EIGHT children!
Earlier in the year, Kim explained to 60 Minutes’ Alison Langon she sometimes “locks herself in the bathroom and cries on the floor” due to the stress of the new household.
They admitted they feed each baby eight times a day and change about 350 nappies a week. At this stage, the couple still do not own a car that fits their entire family and thankfully, a friend has set up a GoFundMe page; of which has already raised $15,950.
Despite this, the couple say they are the happiest they’ve ever been in their life. But it’s not just post-birth that was stressful for the Tucci’s.
Her pregnancy originally came with a horrible choice due to serious health risks to both herself and her unborn children.
She was told by specialists she could elect to save the lives of at least two of the children but she chose to carry them full term.
With the help of 50 doctors and nurses, she delivered the babies in just two minutes and all five babies were born healthy.
“No-one thought I could do it, and I did, I showed everyone in my life,” Mrs Tucci said.
“So, I think it’s the first time that I’ve actually been proud of myself.”
