Well we’ve certainly got some tears left to cry after finding out the the Grammy’s performance list just lost a major name.
A number of sources are reporting that Ariana Grande has allegedly pulled out of the Grammy Awards following some major drama with producers.
The ‘Thank U, Next’ singer was due to perform at the awards show on February 10 but now reportedly won’t even attend after having creative differences about her set list.
Variety is reporting that Ariana felt “insulted” after producers wouldn’t let her sing her latest single, ‘7 Rings’. Eventually they agreed to have the hit appear as part of a medley, but they insisted on choosing her second song.
But it wasn’t good enough for Grande who decided to pull the pin on the performance altogether.
Varitey’s sources claim that other acts are absolutely not having to deal with “such stipulations” and so it’s pretty understandable that Ari would feel annoyed at this kind of treatment.
It’s a pretty big loss for the Grammy’s seeing as Ariana is one of the biggest names in music right now. They’ve also been heavily promoting her as a performer up until now so that’s pretty awks.
Other performers at the 61st annual Grammy awards include Lady Gaga, Cardi B, Mark Ronson, Dua Lipa, St. Vincent and Travis Scott.
