Residents in Victoria experienced a small earthquake this morning.

Geosciences Australia confirmed a 2.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in Broadford just before 11:30 AM.

While the earthquake was minor, at least 20 reports were given to the SES.

There was no damage as a result of the earthquake.

“There is no immediate threat to the community and no action is required,” the SES alert said.
