A full bush went out with the 80s and these days both women and men prefer to rock the bare look down there.
But what if we’ve been doing more harm than good every time we strip our pubic hair from our bodies?
What if we are meant to leave that area as nature intended – covered in coarse and unruly hair?
According to AsapSCIENCE there are tonnes of reasons why we should keep our bushes untrimmed and let them roam free.
Firstly, when a person whips off their pubic hair they are more likely to experience the dreaded genital itching that comes straight afterwards. In fact a whopping 75 percent of people who remove their pubes have experienced that unbearable itch and that’s before we even get to the subject of ingrown hairs.
Secondly, the removal of pubic hairs can sometimes cause an open cut or an abrasion and this in turn facilitates the spread of STDs. The rise in gonorrhoea, chlamydia, and HPV infections can all be associated with pubic hair removal. True story.
Thirdly, the process can seriously injure people. No seriously, in US emergency room genital injuries are primarily caused from pubic hair removal.
Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
