This Is Where Matt & Meshel's Winnings From Family Feud Went
Earlier in the year, KIIS 101.1’s Matt & Meshel and the Thinkergirls appears on All Star Family Feud.
Over the last few years, Matt has been working tirelessly to help a great cause and this week saw the results of his work come to life.
The new McAuley Community Services for Women Centre, Pickett Street House, opened in Footscray and thanks to the wonderful people at Family Feud and Network Ten, every room has been able to have some artwork installed; that was donated following the show airing.
McAuley Community Services provide much-needed services for women and their children who are escaping family violence as well as for women who are homeless.
The charity was started in 2008, when the Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea joined two of its long-running services – McAuley House (formerly Regina Coeli) and McAuley Care (formerly Mercy Care).
Their mission is to provide accommodation, services, advocacy and support for women who are homeless and, women and their accompanying children who experience family violence.
