And he couldn’t be more excited about it!

“We actually like each other,” Guy told us. “We genuinely actually really dig each other.”

Thanks to all the beautiful artists who bared their souls this week.... it takes a lot of guts to do what you did. It’s such a tough industry and I’m grateful as I’m sure many of you are that there is a platform like @ninecomau’s @thevoiceau that allows artists to showcase their craft and receive incredible guidance from such legends as @boygeorgeofficial, @kellyrowland, and @deltagoodrem. Big love to you all ✌🏽
It appeared to be a breath of fresh air for Guy, who went on to say that he hasn’t had as great of an experience with other judges on talent shows in the past.
It was no secret that during his time as a judge on X-Factor in 2016, Guy was not a fan of fellow judge Iggy Azalea.
Speaking about the feud between the pair this morning, Guy explained why he had such a problem with her.
“I never liked Iggy,” Guy said.
“Why didn’t you like Iggy?” Kyle asked. “I like Iggy. What’s the problem with you and Iggy.”
As it turns out, their beef came down to the fact that Guy found Iggy to be a little bit of a diva!
“She was awful to me!” Guy continued. “Like I had stuff on with my kids, she made us all wait for like three hours of something and then rocks up and has attitude.
“Like if I’m making everyone wait, which happens ‘cause you know, I’m not the best with time, but at least charm it on a bit.
“Go, ‘Oh I’m so sorry I’m late’. Make up something. And just charm them a little.”
Guy expressed that because of this attitude her just knew that he would never get along with her.
“But Iggy would walk in she’d go, ‘My time’s my time. Whatever. Get over it’.”
Well hopefully this show turns out a bit more harmonious for Guy and the other coaches!
Although we know that even The Voice is no stranger to a bit of controversy between the celebs, with Boy George and Kelly Rowland known for getting on each others nerves a bit last season!
The Voice kicks off Sunday 19 May at 7PM on Channel 9!
