Your Guide To Melbourne On ANZAC Day

ANZAC Day is a day where our nation stops and remembers all Australians who have served in war or peacekeeping operations.

The 25th of April marks the day that the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps landed in Gallipoli in 1915.

The Shrine of Remembrance holds the ANZAC Day dawn service at 6am, and the ANZAC Day parade starts from Flinders Street at 9am. The parade will be full of Veterans and their descendants and they will head down Swanston Street towards the Shrine.

There will be a whole heap of extra public transport services running. For a full list, check them out here on the PTV website. In addition to this, there will also be many free shuttle services to the Shrine from local RSLs across Melbourne.
