Ms Scott, 26, went missing in the southwest NSW town of Leeton in April 2015, six days before she was due to be married.
School cleaner Stanford, 25, was arrested three days after Ms Scott's disappearance and later confessed to murdering the teacher at Leeton High School.

According to 9 News, Stanford was sentenced today in Griffith courthouse in southwest NSW by Justice Robert Hulme, who said the case was one of "great heinousness".
He said Stanford's culpability was "so extreme" that it could "be met with only one response".
He sentenced Stanford to 15 years in prison for aggravated sexual assault, but did not impose a non-parole period as there was "no utility" due to the life sentence for murder.
Stanford's demeanour in recorded police interviews, he said, "clearly demonstrated a lack of emotion".
