Victorian Child Rushed To Hospital After Swimming Lessons Go
A young boy has been flown by helicopter to the Royal Children’s Hospital after being pulled from the pool during a school swimming lessons.
The child, who is believed to be six, is in a serious but stable condition after he was dragged from the water in Victoria’s East.
Paramedics were called to the Swifts Creek Pool on the Great Alpine Road at about 1pm where it is believed that children from the local primary school were having lessons.
The child was treated by emergency services at the scene before being airlifted in an ambulance helicopter.
