Two Women Have Died After Triple Shooting Near Hervey Bay
Two women have been shot dead in a domestic incident at a property in Booval, near Hervey Bay this morning.
Police were called at approximately 6:50am to the home after the alarm of a triple shooting was raised as the result of a domestic incident.

Unconfirmed reports suggest a 79 year old shot his wife and his female adult child before calling the police to admit to his crime.

The identities of the three persons have not been revealed.
Queensland Ambulance transported two of the victims to hospital in a critical condition, where they were due to be airlifted to a Brisbane Hospital for further treatment.
Police confirmed one woman was found deceased on arrival at the property.

A man is currently undergoing emergency surgery after sustaining gunshot wounds.
A crime scene has been established and police have commenced forensic examinations at the property.
