Unrestrained Toddler Injured In Melbourne Car Crash
Two cars collided at the intersection of Roxburgh Park Drive and Matthews Crescent at around 8pm last night.
There was an unrestrained two year old child in one of the cars who was seriously injured.
The child was thrown from their seat and was found in the footwell of the car.
Victoria Police sergeant Dean Pickering said "Initially we did not even know there was a child in the car... because the child had been thrown around".
The child is in a serious condition and was taken to the Royal Children's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, who Police think is a man in his 30s, was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
