Three workers have been rescued from a terrifying crane collapse in North Sydney. The men were left hanging by their harnesses in mid air after the crane they were working in collapsed above a high rise building.
Emergency services worked hard to free the men. One of the the workers was lowered down in a metal bucket and rescue crews had to use an angle grinder and the Jaws Of Life to free him.
Two of the workers were rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital, while the third is still being assessed by paramedics at the scene. It's believed one suffered a shoulder injury and another suffered a laceration to the head. A third man is believed to have suffered a broken arm.
