Teen Charged Over Victorian Mosque Threats
A 14-year-old boy has been charged with making threats to kill worshippers at a Victorian mosque within two days of the Christchurch terror attack.
The teenager was charged on Thursday after allegedly directing threats to a Geelong mosque via social media on Sunday.
The youth, from suburban Geelong, has been bailed to face Children's Court at a later date.
The 14-year-old has been charged with making threats to kill, causing a false report to be made to police, using a carriage service to menace, using a carriage service to make a threat to kill and using a telecommunications network with intention to commit a serious offence.
