Second Person Dies Following Melbourne Club Shooting
A second person has died following a shooting at Melbourne club Love Machine on Chapel Street.
Facebook posts are indicating that the victim was waiting to get into the club when they were shot.
It was confirmed yesterday that Aaron Khalid Osmani, 37, was among three security guards caught up in the shooting, it is believed he was shot in the face. He died in hospital.
Detective Inspector Andrew Stamper said “I want to reassure the community straight up that the full resources of the crime department are actively investigating this matter at the moment and no stone will left unturned in terms of finding the people who carried out this act.”
“This is a horrendous act. A busy nightclub, one of the main nightclubs in one of the main entertainment precincts of Melbourne,’ Stamper continued.
