Police Warn Melbourne Parents After Children Taken Photos Of

Police are hunting for a man who was seen taking photos of young boys at a block of public toilets in Melbourne.

Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are investigating the incident at Federation Square earlier this year.

A number of boys, aged between 10 and 12, were using the toilets in the square when they noticed a man taking their photo about 3pm on May 31.

The man was seen leaving the toilets and getting up with another man, who was waiting outside for him before they walked away.

The boys reported the incident to the police.

Victoria Police said the man is perceived to be Asian in appearance, in his mid-20s and had tanned skin.

He was wearing a light grey jumper with dark grey dots, black shorts, a Red Bull cap and grey Nike shoes.

Detectives have released an image of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.
