Police Speak Out Over The Disappearance Of Melbourne Mum
Police have this mooring spoken about the disappearance of missing Melbourne mother Karen Ristevski.
Ms Ristevski was last seen leaving her Avondale Heights home on June 29 and has not used her mobile phone or made contact with her family or friends since.
This morning police began handing out information leaflets in the local area and are also undertaking door to door enquiries.
Ms Ristevski was wearing a black blazer, jeans and carrying a gold handbag when she left her home after having an argument with her husband.
It has been reported that police have hit a ''wall of silence'' with one person involved in their investigation, which is why they are now ramping up their need for public information.
Detective Inspector Stephen Dennis has said ‘’the disappearance of Karen Ristevski is being treated as a missing persons case, not murder.’’
Police have also said they will not be giving any details on any leads in the search for Karen as their investigation is still ongoing but are urging anyone with any information to pass it on to them.
They refused to comment on Ms Ristevski's relationship with her stepson or whether her husband has stopped co-operting with the investigation.
