Police Discover Drugs At Victorian Private School Camp
Police have seized marijuana from an exclusive private school camp in regional Victoria.
Authorities were called to Catholic Regional College's camp in Tylden where they discovered the drugs.
It has been confirmed that the school notified Victoria Police after claims that a small amount of marijuana had been taken on the camp.
"Student safety and wellbeing is always foremost in our minds so we promptly notified police, which led to the removal of the students involved from the camp who are now subject to College disciplinary procedures," a school spokesman told the Herald Sun.
"A number of students who were present at the camp were spoken to at the time however no charges have been laid and the drugs will be destroyed," a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.
