One Thing Police Need For Missing Melbourne Woman

Security cameras at the home of missing woman Karen Ristevski had stopped working months for her disappearance.

According to the Herald Sun, who spoke to her husband Borce Ristevski, said the CCTV cameras at the family's Avondale Heights home had been out of action since earlier this year.

Ms Ristevski has not been seen since June 29 and questions were starting to be raised about why cameras at her home did not catch her leaving.

Neighbours of the family had also said they did not see her on the morning she vanished.

“The CCTV cameras at the house haven’t been working for five or six months, not just the time Karen disappeared,” Mr Ristevski told the Herald Sun yesterday.

The newspaper is saying that the police have told Ms Ristevski's husband not to speak publicly about the case but he is continuing to co-operate with the police.

Mr Ristevski last spoke to the police on Friday when they began to search the Maribyrnong river area.

The search zone is 3KM away from the Ristevski home.
