New Clues In The Case Of Missing Melbourne Mum Ristevski
New clues have emerged in the case of missing Melbourne mother, Karen Ristevski.
Police are investigating her mobile phone data and think it has shed some light on the movement of her and her husband on the day she disappeared.
Ms Ristevski was last seen leaving her Avondale Heights home at 10AM on June 29.
Her husband Borce Ristevski said the couple had, had an argument moments before she left their property to go for a walk to ‘clear her head’.
However, police are now reportedly combing mobile phone data after it was revealed both of their phones were detected by transmitter towers located on the Calder Highway later that day.
New Corp has reported that Ms Ristevski mobile was detected in the vicinity of Gisborne, about 40km from her home.
Mr Ristevski’s phone was detected in nearby Diggers Rest on the same day but his phone was switched off for two hours, according to News Corp.
Police have also taken samples of soil from two cars at the Ristevski property.
Sergeant Melissa Search said police have concerns for Ms Ristevski's welfare as her disappearance is out of character.
