Cruel Thieves Rob The Mother Of A Sick NSW Girl

The mother of a NSW girl with a rare degenerative brain disease has had a handbag containing her daughter's emergency instructions and wheelchair car keys stolen in Wollongong.

Nyree Saxby said her handbag was stolen from outside her daughter Chloe's classroom at Woonona East Public School on Tuesday morning.

Eight-year-old Chloe was diagnosed with Vanishing White Matter Disease five years ago. It affects only seven children in Australia and 170 worldwide.

Ms Saxby says her phone was also in the stolen bag and it contained a year's worth of photographs from fundraising campaigns for Chloe.

Ms Saxby said she knew who was responsible for the theft and urged them to come forward.

"You know who you are and we also know who you are," she wrote on the Facebook page Saving Chloe Saxby.

More on the situation as we get it...
