More Police Cars Rammed In Melbourne This Morning
There have been two cases where police cars were rammed this morning in Melbourne. One case was in Coburg noth, and the other in Drysdale, near Geelong.
In Drysdale, Police officers had stopped their car to investigate a man loitering outside a business on Portarlington road at around 4am. Then man then jumped into his Holden Commodore and rammed the Police car before driving off.
Police believe the car was purple or blue.
Police are searching for the car and are urging for anyone with information to come forward or to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The incident in Coburg North resulted in a man being arrested after a Police car and three other vehicles were rammed. It happened when Police were driving through Peterson Avenue at around 4:50am when they noticed a potentially stolen car.
When Police approached the vehicle, it suddenly reversed backwards into a parked car, and then drove forwards into the police vehicle. The driver of the stolen car then continued on and hit multiple other cars before driving away. Luckily nobody was injured.
