Missing Melbourne Woman Karen Ristevski's Husband Speaks Out

The husband of missing Melbourne woman Karen Ristevski has broken his silence over her disappearance.

Borce Ristevski has told the Herald Sun that they argued over ‘’a sum of hundreds of dollars’’ before she went missing.

Ms Ristevski has now not been seen since June 29 when she left her Avondale Heights home after an argument with her husband.

Police have grave concerns for her safety and have now searched the Maribyrnong River twice.

"My primary concern is getting everyone to understand that Karen hasn't done a runner on the basis of our finances," Mr Ristevski told the newspaper.

"It had nothing to do with our financial situation."

Mr Ristevski had completely dismissed claims by his estranged son that he overheard Ms Ristevski talking about leaving Borce when their daughter Sarah turned 21, which was earlier this year.

Police are continuing to step up their search for missing mum and are still looking for any information to do with her disappearance. If you know anything, you must call CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
