Melburnians Warned Ahead Of Tonight's POWERFUL Weather
Damaging winds are expected to hit Melbourne tonight, for the third time in three weeks.
Gusts of up 90km/h are expected to hit the state as a whole and this will include the Dandenong ranges.
The worst will come at midnight and osh Gamble from the SES says residents, especially in Melbourne's outer-east need to be prepared.
"If possible, during times between midnight and 7am in Melbourne areas, stay indoors, and if possible stay away from windows and be prepared for power outages," he said.
It comes more than two weeks after damaging winds brought down thousands of trees and left tens of thousands of properties without power.
Mr Gamble said the winds won't be quite as strong and the damage as widespread this time around.
