Melbourne's Unhappiest Suburb Revealed In Report
The 2015 Indicators Survey, which has been finally released this week, has found that nearly two out of three people are scared to walk alone in the dark, in the suburb of Greater Dandenong. This is against the state average of almost one in two, going by data from VicHealth.
Residents from Greater Dandenong had the lowest overall satisfaction with life. This report is rolled out every four years, and uses phone interviews with over 22,000 Victorian residents, over the age of 18 years.
The report also shows that Greater Dandenong inhabitants are also some of the unhealthiest in the state, with figures showing they were both the least active, and least likely to eat healthy, out of all participants.
