Melbourne Woman In Court Over Fatal Hit-Run

A Melbourne woman had a suspended licence at the time she allegedly hit an elderly man with her car and left him for dead.

Anastasia Stacey Panourakis, 32, appeared before Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday charged with multiple offences over an Oakleigh East crash in December that killed Vincenzo Fata.

The Clayton resident has been banned from driving as she faces charges of dangerous driving causing death, failing to stop and render assistance after an accident, driving while suspended and careless driving.
