Melbourne Set To Have HORRIFIC Commute Home Tonight

It’s going to be one of those Monday’s.

Heading home from work on Monday, Melbourne residents are going need to their umbrellas as heavy rain, hail and thunderstorms are expected during peak.

Those heavy clouds that are hanging over Melbourne currently will break at around 5PM.

Once they have dropped their rainy load onto us, it will pave way for an icy blast on Friday which will continue straight through to Grand Final week.

Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Keris Arndt said ‘’There will likely be showers and thunderstorms moving through this afternoon and evening. Showers in the city could start as early as 4pm, he said, but were most likely to begin around 5pm or 6pm.’’

However, it’s not all bad! The Grand Final is not expected to be wet, the rain is likely to clear up as we head into Saturday, however, it is expected to be cold.
