Melbourne School CLOSED After Being Ruined By Storms

A large tree has crashed through the roof of Menzies Creek Hall, where a pre-school operates in the city’s outer east.

Due to extensive damage of both the hall and Menzies Creek Primary School was also extensively damaged and will be closed on Monday.

Parents have been advised to keep in touch with the school today to see if they will re-open tomorrow.

Melbourne had a once in a five year weather event, with winds hitting 145km/h in some areas, it has left more than 100,000 homes without power and continual transport woes.
