Melbourne Man Charged Over Disgusting Cyclist Hit-And-Run
A man has been charged over a hit-run incident in Melbourne's southeast which has left a cyclist fighting for life in hospital.
The 28-year-old man appeared in an out-of-sessions court hearing on Thursday night on charges of dangerous driving causing serious injury and failing to render assistance.
It's alleged the Parkdale ute driver hit the 50-year-old female cyclist in Chelsea about 5.40am on Thursday before he left the crash scene.
The Chelsea woman was rushed to hospital with critical injuries where she remains.
The ute was found less than three hours later in Seaford, and the man was arrested in Broadmeadows.
