Melbourne Broke A Long-Term RECORD Last Night!

Melbourne has had its hottest October night in four years overnight!

The temperature lingered around 20 degrees for most of the night, which is more than double its monthly average of 9.8 degrees.

Big temperature fluctuations are typical for spring; it’s not often you seen this kind of warmth after dark.

The last time we had such a night was in 2012, but powerful winds put an end to it all with St Kilda getting hit with 72 km/h winds.

A cold front will move through Victoria later today following a top at 23 degrees, and we will get 1 to 2 millimetres of rain.
