'Incident' Leaves Melbourne's Level Crossing Works Suspended
Melbourne’s level crossing and Skyrail works have been halted while an investigation takes place following an incident in Carnegie.
One of the piling rigs being used to begin work on the controversial SkyRail experienced an ‘accident’ which caused damage to the roof of an adjacent property.
It is being reported that nobody has was hurt but all works have been ceased while a full safety investigation gets underway.
The Level Crossings Removal Authority has been liaising with the owner of the property to ensure the roof is safe.
