Hot Air Balloon Crashes In Melbourne's North-East
A hot air balloon carrying 10 passengers has crashed into a tree in Melbourne's north-east this morning after running low on fuel.
The three couples on board all got engaged in the hot air balloon before it got tangled in a tree in Eltham.
Paramedics were called to Ramptons Road, near Karingal Drive, in Eltham at about 7.30am after the hot air balloon crashed into a tree.

While nobody was injured, the Metropolitan Fire Brigade was called to help extract the balloon from the branches.
"It crashed into a tree. Everyone is fine and safe and we are using a chainsaw to cut it out of the tree," an MFB spokesman said.
One of the passengers, Brendan O’Loughlin, 29, had just asked his girlfriend Emma Govan, 30, to marry him when the balloon began to descend. Despite the rough landing, she still said yes!
It is believed two of the others couples also got engaged during the flight.

The Triple M branded hot air balloon started running low on fuel above Eltham North, with gusty winds making it difficult for the experienced pilot to find somewhere to land. The balloon then got tangled in tree branches.
Emergency service crews were forced to use a chainsaw to chop the balloon free, which ultimately destroyed it.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman confirmed nobody required medical treatment.
