Fourth Person Charged Over Victoria Murder
A fourth person has been charged over the fatal shooting of a man on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.
A 46-year-old Rosebud man is due to face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday, charged with murder over the shooting of Joshua DiPietro at Rosebud on September 3.
Mr DiPietro had been at a Father's Day lunch with his parents before his mother dropped him at a milk bar at Rye, kissed him goodbye and told him she loved him.
He was collected by a friend, and police believe the pair was heading to the local RSL for a drink when Mr DiPietro was shot.
He was taken to hospital but died the following night.
The charges follow the extradition of a man and woman from NSW to Victoria on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old man was charged with murder while the woman, 31, was charged with being an accessory.
They were remanded in custody to appear in court at a later date.
A 30-year-old associate of Mr DiPietro was also arrested and charged with murder two days after the shooting.
He is also remanded in custody and is due to face court again on August 6.
