FIVE People Hospitalised As Another Melbourne Home Invaded
Five people have been hospitalised with stab wounds and a broken limb after a home invasion in Springvale last week.
Four people forced entry into the Dodds Street home with baseball bats, iron are and lives demanding drugs and cash at 11:35PM on July 27.
They then assaulted six of the 11 men living in the share house, with wounds including a broken arm, stab wounds to legs and arms as well as a head wound after being struck with an iron bar.
Five were taken to Dandenong Hospital for treatment and all were released.
Senior Constable Luke Kirton said ‘’We believe it was a targeted attack,” he said. The four offenders all had their faces covered.’’
Three of the men are believed to be of southern European or Middle Eastern descent, while one was described as caucasian.
They arrived and left in an unknown vehicle.
Two mobile phones were stolen from the house.
