Elderly Man Pulled From His Car In The Latest CarJacking

An elderly man has been pulled from his ute during a daylight carjacking in Geelong.

The Norlane man, 76, was waiting at an intersection in Norlane on Monday about 2pm when a man opened the passenger side door and jumped in, police say.

A second man opened the driver side door, pulled the elderly man from the car, took the man's wallet and then drove off in the vehicle.

"The man was not injured but was very shaken by the incident," police spokesman Thomas O'Byrne said on Wednesday.

The stolen vehicle, a green Toyota Hilux, has not been recovered.
