Death Toll Rises Following Melbourne's Freak Storm On Monday

The deaths of at least four Victorians will be probed when a review over Monday’s freak storm that left Melbourne in an asthma crisis gets underway.

Nobel Park father Clarence Leo passed away on Tuesday morning as was described as having the ‘biggest heart’.

The circumstances behind his death and those of Apollo Papadopulos, 35, Omar Moujalled, 18 and Hope Carnevali, 20, will all be investigated.

Melbourne hospitals have confirmed that another eight people are currently in intensive care.

The Inspector - General of Emergency Management will lead a state-wide review into the emergency response and determine if a health warning should have been issued on Monday before the storm hit.
