Chilling Move Made By Davidson Father Before Family Gassing

Not even a week after the gruesome discovery of an entire deceased family in the Sydney suburb of Davidson, tragic revelations are being discovered about the way in which they came to pass.

Yesterday, it was reported that the father, Fernando Manrique, had been seen on the roof the family home on the weekend, working with power tools, constructing what police now believe to be a complex system of pipes, which created a gas chamber in the home.

Now, it has been revealed that Mr Manrique had also been in contact with a ‘Dr Death’ founded euthanasia group for advice. The Australian is reporting that Mr Manrique had been seeking information about peaceful death from 'Exit International'.

Dr Phillip Nitschke, who's behind the group, confirmed from Amsterdam that his group 'had some contact' with the Manrique-Lutz family.

"Obviously parents sometimes get taken to extreme levels of stress." "Obviously this is a tragedy, although it sounds like I'm critical of them, which I'm not" "I agree it's a tragedy but until you walk in their shoes, it's very hard to be critical.”

He said the father had downloaded the company's e-handbook, which has chapters devoted to different death by suicide options.. including carbon monoxide, which is believed to have been the method used by Mr. Manrique.

"They knew about carbon monoxide, looks like somebody went to a great deal of trouble to make sure the death was peaceful" Gas canisters, and a laptop, have been removed from the home of the family, who moved to Sydney from Colombia in 2005.

It has been widely reported that both parents suffered from a great deal of stress in raising their two children, who were autistic and did not speak.

Our hearts are with the family and friends of the deceased.
