A fight at a pub that broke out just before midnight on Friday in regional Victoria has ended in tragedy as a father-of-three has died.
Greg Mitchem from Frankston was punched by another man and died at the scene after striking his head on the pavement.
Three men have been arrested over their involvement in the wild brawl that killed Mr Mitchem while he was holidaying in Eildon with family.
The 51-year-old's children have since spoken out saying that they don't know how they are going to move on after the death of their father.
Harley, Luke and Jade Mitchem have spoken to 9NEWS saying that their father was a caring man who would have been trying to put an end to the violence.
"He would never start a fight, he would always try to settle it down if there was a fight," Luke Mitchem said.
"He would do anything for us. Like anything. His life was for us and that's the way it was and now we don't know what we're going to do."
Police have now released two of the men who were arrested in relation to the fight however charges have not yet been laid.
