Harry And Meghan May Start World Tour In Australia

British media outlets are reporting that Prince Harry and Meghan may start their first overseas tour together in Australia.

The couple are expected to make their first overseas trip to Ireland, with some other, short trips planned in the next few months before coming to Australia in October for the Invictus Games.

The couple will be here for a week as part of Harry’s charitable event being held for wounded and ill soldiers, which is being held in Sydney.

Britain’s Mail Online reports a possible major tour which would start with the Invictus trip in Sydney, then carry on to New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.

The new Duke and Duchess of Sussex will take on their first official task as a married royal couple when they attend a garden party for charity workers at Buckingham Palace this week

Meanwhile The Sun reports that Prince Harry made a moving speech as the private wedding reception.

The Royal said he and Meghan make a “great team” and said to her: “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Harry also said she had “navigated everything with such grace”.

Prince Charles also gave an emotional speech at the lunchtime reception, praising his youngest son, and concluding with “my darling old Harry, I’m so happy for you.’’
