ANOTHER Melbourne School At The Centre Of A Big Scandal

Police have started to investigate a lunchtime sex act performed by a student at a Melbourne private boys’ school.

It is understood parents have raised the alarm after learning of the incident last month.

The Catholic school confirmed the case involved two boys, both believed to be 14-years-old, and happened on their lunch break on August 23 in front of a group.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman told the Herald Sun ‘’Police have received a report of an alleged incident at an educational facility. As the matter is under investigation, it would be inappropriate to comment further.’’

The school has not been named by the newspaper but the acting principal of the school said the students and parents had been spoken to and the issue had been resolved.

Adolescent boys sometimes experience challenges with choices, particularly when it comes to relationships with each other,” he said.

“This happened between a boy and another boy in a group during lunchtime — and we have a hands-off policy.

“They behaved in a way that we believe is not appropriate conduct. We addressed it with the relevant families ... and all parties are happy and amicable.”

The students were dealt with inside the school guidelines, including appropriate sanctions and counselling.
