AFL Star Majak Daw Targeted In Vile Racial Attack
Kangaroos star Majak Daw is the latest AFL star to be targeted by deeply racist comments online.
On Saturday, the AFL posted an adorable photo of the 27-year-old player holding the young son of teammate Jed Anderson at the JLT Community Series match between North Melbourne and St Kilda.
Unfortunately, the beautiful image prompted a disgusting comment from a user.
"What a frightening experience for the youngster. Face to face with a gorilla," the comment read.
The comment, which had received a multitude of 'laugh' reacts and likes, has since been deleted.
The abuse was quickly pounced upon by another user, who took a screenshot of it, before condemning the horrific nature of the post.
"What an absolute piece of s**t you must be to post this rubbish. And then there are those that ‘like’ or ‘laugh’ in reply. Sad really."

In a statement to the Herald Sun, the AFL said they "removed the disgraceful comments from the Facebook post and the details have been forwarded to our integrity department for further investigation."
