Project Host Peter Helliar's $3 Mil Melbourne Home For Sale
The Project Host Peter Helliar is selling his Melbourne home and it is on the market for a whopping $3 million dollars.
Waleed Aly's sidekick is clearly having better luck in the housing department, while Waleed himself recently expressed his woes about being unable to afford a house in Melbourne.
Helliar has put his spacious four-acre home in Plenty on the market and the comedian is expected to pocket more than $3 million for the family home.
The home, about 20 kilometres north-west of Melbourne, boasts a picturesque infinity swimming pool, basketball and tennis court, home theatre and treetop vistas.
Speaking to Domain, Helliar said he has lived at the property for nine years with his wife, Bridget and their three sons, aged 13, 11 and seven.
"It's a brilliant entertaining area and we have had some great parties, and Grand Final day is always at our place.
"I had my 40th there in June and that was a big night ... [if the walls could talk] there would be a few nervous members of the Australian entertainment community - including myself, possibly.
"It's going to be really hard to leave; it was my dream home and we love it, but we get a bit restless."
Helliar, 40, said one of the main reasons for the move is to be closer to his children's schools.
Gold Logie winner Waleed Aly told The Australian that he and his wife Susan Carland rent a property in Richmond, in Melbourne's inner-east because it is too expensive to buy.
