People Are Losing It Over This Lipstick’s Secret Compartment
Secret doors to secret rooms, safes behind paintings and hollow books.
The latest in stealth compartments? Lipstick. Specifically, E.L.F. lippies.
And its kind of genius.
It was first discovered by Twitter user @spoopykitten, who exclaimed the tiny removable colour square was a lip balm. However, we now know the extra little pot of lippie is just a sample of the lipstick itself.

"We know the best way to colour match is to see the actual product," Achelle Richards, Creative director of E.L.F. cosmetics, told Refinery29.

And I guess it works both ways – if you don’t use it in the way it was intended, to colour-match before purchase, you can always treat it like the perfect emergency last skerrick of lipstick... you know, like the crumbs at the bottom of your Pizza Shapes.
