Bad News For Melburnians With Allergies!

Unless you’ve been indoors with the windows shut the whole time over the last few weeks, you would have noticed a SYMPHONY of sneezes all around Melbourne.

Melburnians are feeling the burden of hayfever earlier than in the past few years and that isn't a good sign of what's to come.

Heavy rainfall has promoted grass growth and led to two high pollen count days in the past week, according to University of Melbourne's School of Botany.

Hayfever expert Ed Newbigin on Friday told AAP this season will most likely be the worst since 2011 and suggests hayfever sufferers keep an eye on daily pollen forecasts.
