Huge Rat Filmed Running In Popular Restaurant's Kitchen

This is absolutely disgusting, and may even turn you off eating out forever.
Worldwide restaurant chain Din Tai Fung has apologised to its customers after footage of a large rodent running through its kitchen has spread on Facebook.
The original video was uploaded by Facebook user Lucy Hui, who captioned the post saying the video had been sent to her.
"This got sent to me today. Makes me want to vomit Din Tai Fung Australia Never eating there again....and it was a favourite. #rats #food"
The popular chain has locations across Asia, Australia, the US and the UK have responded to the video with a Facebook comment.
"Din Tai Fung has in place stringent food safety protocols. We take this matter very seriously.
Once notified of this incident, we immediately activated our pest control specialists as well as professional cleaners to inspect and disinfect our premises as a priority. We are also conducting thorough investigations and improving measures in pest defence during post-operations hours. This is important as we already clean, disinfect and secure the kitchen on a daily basis, yet it's clear we can do even better.
Westfield Sydney, where this Din Tai Fung store is located also arranged for pest control specialists to attend to the entire food court. Westfield Sydney and Din Tai Fung conduct regular proactive pest control inspections using professional contractors.
