The Controversial Michael Jackson Doco's Coming To Aussie TV
In a major coup, Channel 10 has announced that they have secured the rights to the controversial Michael Jackson documentary Leaving Neverland.
In the film, which recently screened at the Sundance Film Festival, two men who were befriended by the late pop star, recall their time with him, contradicting earlier on-the-record statements they have made.
The 2 part doco, which is yet to broadcast in the States, is currently the subject of a legal fight.
Optimum Productions and the two co-executors of the Jackson Estate are suing HBO and Time Warner claiming the documentary constitutes a breach of a non-disparagement clause in an old contract.
You will be able to see what all the fuss is about when 10 screens part 1 on Friday, 8 March at 9.00pm and the second instalment on Saturday, 9 March at 9.30pm.
There will also be an extended and unedited version which will be fast-tracked on 10 Play and 10 All Access from Friday morning, 8 March at 10.01am.
