Actress BODY SHAMED For Wearing Shorts Has Perfect Response.
It's a Facebook post that has over 400k likes already and it starts simply with an amazing phrase; ''Women. Do not tear each other down. Celebrate each other. Every day.''
Actress Brynne Huffman posted a story on Facebook about being body shames in public on the popular page 'Love What Happens'.
The story goes that Huffman smiled at a woman waiting in a line at a Post Office, her kindness was returned with a backhanded comment ''Your hair really is amazing ... You should probably rethink the shorts though.''
Huffman wrote ''"So many things ran through my head because I don't have time to get arrested today, what came out was this: 'You should probably rethink your shirt.'"
She then went on to remind readers that being plus-sized or fat does not have to always be negative.
"Gender doesn't matter. Race doesn't matter. Religion doesn't matter. Sexual orientation doesn't matter," Huffman said. "But fat? Apparently fat matters."
Keeping going she then rightfully shamed body shaming saying ''You might have an issue with my body. I don't and I've worked very hard past judgmental family and friends, past divorce, past depression to NOT have an issue with my body."
Huffan, who lives in Texas, then encouraged other woman to celebrate each other instead of tearing them down.
You go girl!
