Ja Rule Has Plans For Another Fyre Festival

Ja Rule, aka the hustled, scammed, bamboozled, hoodwinked, lead astray rapper, has revealed he has plans to have another crack at the Fyre Festival.

If you’re a bit brand-new over 2017's Fyre Festival, you need to get to the Netflix doco immediately and get up to speed – basically ticket-holders were promised a weekend partying on a private island but instead got rain-soaked mattresses in disaster tents.

Ja denied he was involved in defrauding partygoers and locals on the island, where tickets were sold for up to $US75,000, which converts to just over $A105,800.

Billy McFarland, founder of Fyre, is serving a six-year jail term but Ja Rule wasn't charged in connection with the fraud.

In fact, the rapper claims he was scammed and lost money through his involvement.

Ja was bailed up at LAX airport by TMZ, to who he lamented the experience.

“It’s not funny to me, it’s heartbreaking to me,” Ja said this week.

“It’s something that I wanted to be special and amazing, it didn’t turn out that way.”

But, like an old high school mate who wants to hook you into their latest MLM scheme, then launched into an entrepreneurial spiel that no one expected.

“In the midst of chaos, there’s opportunity,” he said.

“[Fyre] is the most iconic festival that never was. I have plans to create the iconic festival, but you didn’t hear that from me.”

Oh man.
