The Bizarre Moment In Rebel Wilson's Trial
There is a little bit of a bizarre situation unfolding in Rebel Wilson’s court case against Baeur Media.
Rebel is currently taking on four magazine titles over defamation claims, following reports that she believes painted her as fake and a liar, claiming she had lied about her age, name and childhood.
Wilson’s lawyer argued on Monday that her ‘world collapsed’ when the articles appeared in Woman’s Day and Australian Women’s Weekly, at a time when her career was reaching a “pinnacle” with the release of the film Pitch Perfect 2.
Collins went onto tell the jury about Wilson’s working-class Sydney childhood and went onto say that “Rebel Wilson is an Australian success story.’’

The jury were shown moments from Rebel’s back catalogue of movies on Monday but on Tuesday, the case took a little bit of a detour, with an entire episode of ABC Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery being shown.
The show is described as’ Julia Zemiro travels around Australia to take some of her favourite people down memory lane. Joining her on the road are well-known faces from the worlds of comedy, entertainment, arts and sport,’ and could be being used to show Rebel’s past.
